Dual purpose modular design

The SAAV Cleat’s modular aluminium design consists of brackets, a support block, insert lift, two extension plates, and a stainless steel retention pin.

For SAAV ShapeArray, the SAAV Cleat suspends the SAAV at the top of the casing while extension tubes are added. Extension tubes occupy space at the top of the borehole if sensorized segments aren’t needed near the surface.

For SAAV Extend ShapeArray, the SAAV Cleat holds the SAAV Extend in place while Lift Extension segments are added.

Before the SAAV Cleat, multiple people were required to hold the ShapeArray while adding extensions tubes or Lift Extension segments. The SAAV Cleat improves both installation ergonomics and safety by removing the need to hold the instrument during these operations.
