ORETrack™ enables mining operations to trace material as it moves from it's pre-blast location to extraction in the plant, with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology detecting material at strategic points along the process chain. Each ORETrack™ tracer is encoded with location specific information, and can be assigned specific attributes such as material type and grade, before being added to a stock piles or blasthole. As the material containing the tag travels through the plant, the tracers register at ORETrack™ detection points and information is sent to a web portal and/or personnel to allow intervention, if required.

The material traceability delivered by ORETrack™ improves control of the ore recovery process. Waste material can be identified in real-time and operational decisions can be made to divert waste before reaching the plant, reducing dilution. Control of stockpile material is also enabled by facilitating optimised blending to meet product specifications and reduce potential penalties for out-of-spec products.
